Release Webinar: IDA Districts
Release Webinar - IDA Districts
Physics-Based System Simulation for Future-Proof Thermal District and Energy System
With IDA Districts, EQUA introduces a new simulation tool for the planning, design, and optimization of heating, cooling, and anergy networks. In this release webinar, we will provide a concise introduction to the software and demonstrate how buildings, networks, energy sources, storage systems, and control strategies can be dynamically simulated as one integrated, physics-based energy system.
The webinar is aimed at engineers and planners, energy utilities, operators, developers, investors, research institutions, and anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how future-proof district and energy concepts can be realistically assessed.
In the webinar, we will cover:
- a brief overview of IDA Districts and its key areas of application
- how heating, cooling, and ambient-loop energy networks can be modelled and analysed
- the role of buildings, network design, hydraulics, storage, energy generation, and control strategies within the overall system
- initial project examples and typical use cases from planning, operation, and energy system transformation
- where to find documentation, learning materials, and further information
- how to test IDA Districts and get started with your own projects
The aim of the webinar is to provide a practical introduction to IDA Districts and demonstrate how simulation can support well-informed decisions for efficient, resilient, and climate-friendly thermal energy systems.
Reliable dynamic simulation for deeper insight, greater confidence and optimised performance
